Great vintage piece of pottery from Marshall, Texas made by the Paul Storie Pottery Company, who's family has been pottery makers for many years, even before they opened their own pottery manufacturing business in the town of Marshall.
This lovely planter/cuspidor/bowl is very decorative and wonderfully painted and glazed. This is a great piece for any pottery lover or collector. The country barn scene in the muted colors of brown and green is commonly found on many pieces from the Storie Pottery Company. This great piece appears to be in mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, it measures 5" across the top from edge to edge and stands about 3.75" high. I really don't know the exact age of the piece, my best guess would be about 1970 to 1980.
