This wonderful evening bag was made in England in the 1930s.
Maker Label is still intact. It appears unused.

Made of black rayon crepe that is gathered/ smocked.
Embellished on both the front and the back with a half circle of black and gold brocade. The hardware and clasp are gold tone metal.
The purse has a metal frame covered in black RAYON.
There is a floral clasp with one big faceted rhinestone and sprays of smaller stones. It has a fabric handle and is lined in a black satin acetate.
There is an inner pocket with a mirror still in its original wax paper wrapper.
Comes complete with a matching change purse.
There are NO tears, NO stains, No missing rhinestones.
Gold Brocade is in great shape with no wear of color, NO fading.
Clasp is in good working order.
Item appears to have been gently used, or perhaps never used.
Condition is VERY GOOD for an item that is at least 70 years old.
A rare find! Keep in mind that vintage items are rarely perfect.
Handbag measures 8 1/2 inches wide at its widest point by 6 inches high.
