This is a very nice, long wool coat from the late 1950s, early 1960s.
The collar is a dark brown mink, and the coat is a bright CRANBERRY RED color.
The pictures don't clearly illustrate it's beauty!
The maker label "MC DANIELS, Springfield, Missouri" remains.
According to research, this was an upscale department store label.
The coat is in good vintage condition with a few very tiny moth bites on the left back side of the coat.
Please see enlarged photo of the most visible one.
They are not obvious unless you look for them.
There are NO stains, holes or fading. Lining is intact and in good condition.
The Mink Collar is NOT removable.
DRY CLEANING RECOMMENDED FOR FRESHENING.
COAT WAS TREATED WITH FEBREEZE FABRIC REFRESHER
We often spray items with Febreeze Fabric Refresher in lieu of Dry Cleaning
so that those costs are not passed on to our customers.
