This is a handmade cotton dress that we recently obtained from an estate sale. The garment dates to the late 1940s, early 1950s. The fabric has a solid print of PALE PINK, trimmed in WHITE. The garment is sleeveless, has 2 trimmed mock pockets. There are 4 PINK celluloid buttons on the bodice that are functioning. There are belt loops, but the belt is missing. We have added a WHITE grosgrain ribbon and a PINK felt flower pin that are included. The skirt is full, but not a circle skirt. The garment has a metal zipper at the side that is in good working order. We hand washed the dress in a mild soap and cool water, line dried, ironed and starched/ steamed it for photography. The fabric is strong and the colors are good. Will need a steam/press before wearing.
