Gorgeous inlaid wood PO Box coin bank with antique brass door. Original Post Office box with combo lock. The wood part looks to be handmade and the inlay detail is gorgeous with varying wood grain shades of brown in a chevron design.
There is a slit in the back to put the coins and money in. It looks like it might have been made by someones grandpa. On the back it says "Fritz W Curtis made this for Luke Matthew Curtis. Christmas 2005." The slit in the back measures about 1 1/4" wide. The box itself is 6 1/2" tall by 6 1/4" wide and 4 3/4" deep.
The box is hefty in weight at 4 lbs. It is strong and of good quality. The glass has the number "384" on it and there are no cracks or chips in the glass.
NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE THE COMBO TO THIS BOX. Likely a locksmith or someone handy at tinkering will be able to figure it out. The dial spins easily - just don't have the combo to it. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING. This PO Box bank is sold as is.
Convo me with any questions and thanks for looking.
