The number 800 refers to the level of purity of the silver, which means that the item is 80% silver and 20% alloy. This number system is an easy way to tell an items purity. The advantage of 800 Sterling Silver is that its more durable than higher-purity alternatives, which makes it a popular choice for flatware such as spoons and knives. The markings on the piece are easy to spot, with the number 800 engraved on it. Shipping Excludes: Alaska/Hawaii, US Protectorates, APO/FPO, PO Box Shipping Provided to the United States Only.
