This purse will be perfect for many occasions. It was made by Lesco Lona in Hong Kong back in the 60s. It sports gold toned metal accents connecting the handles, the clasp and feet. Both the clasp and feet also have a leather base to them. The strips that were woven to make the basket look to be vinyl, as opposed to a natural material...all the better for holding up for years of use.
There are no breaks in the vinyl wicker. The lining is a plastic vinyl, which is also crack and tear free. The zipper works as well. The only flaw I can find is that the leather strips under the feet and clasp have curled a bit and have some exposed natural brown color (see pix 3 and 5)This purse looks to be in excellent condition. Pictures 1 and 2 show opposite sides of the purse.
The purse measures approximately: 12" across x 9.5" tall (not including handles) x 3.5" deep
