1972 The Godfather Movie Poster from Spain El Padrino

It was 1972.

The Godfather was the hit movie to see in the USA.

While in Spain that Christmas, I spotted a Godfather Movie poster in Spanish, taped to a downtown Madrid wall, promoting the movie there.

I took it, brought it back and kept it for the last 45 years. Colors are good and the red profile of Marlon Brando will still send chills through you.

Poster Size is 27 1/2 inches wide and 22 inches tall.

The outdoor movie promotional posters were not meant to last but for a week or so.

This one is fragile, but intact. The lower right corner is torn, but reveals the 1972 date and the Paramount Movie logo.
