Rare late 1800's Chromo Lithograph called "The Two Pets". This was published in Boston by Charles Taylor & Company. It was an advertising premium given away with a subscription to the magazine American Homes Illustrated which was published from 1871-1875 by Charles Taylor. It features a cute girl with blonde curls and wearing pearls. At her side is her black dog, that appears to be a Newfoundland. It is in a carved wood frame and is under glass, wood backing, with a broken wire for hanging. The frame measures approximately 17" tall and 15" wide. The opening in the back of the frame measures approximately 12" by 10". Condition: No damage noted. will need a new wire to hang. Vintage condition overall considering it's age is beautiful - be sure to zoom photos for a closer look! This rare print would make a very beautiful gift, or to add to your own home decor!
