An antique Japanese Satsuma teapot in the black moriage style, featuring raised floral decoration in brown and gold tones, dating to the early 1900s–1940s. Includes the matching lid, and holds approximately 16 oz. Sold as-is: the tip of the ceramic pouring spout is broken/chipped off, leaving an open jagged rim edge as pictured. This does not affect the decorative appeal of the piece and makes it a great candidate for a kintsugi (gold-seam) repair project, or simply a display piece for collectors who appreciate the moriage craftsmanship regardless of the damage.
Condition: Used, as-is — damaged spout as described and pictured.
