And to think that I saw it on Mulberry St Vintage Lg 11x8 Hardcover Dr Seuss Book 1937 Renewed made in USA Unaltered Antique Library. This is a fabulous Oversize 1937 edition renewed and unaltered of this out of print Dr. Seuss book. It has a plastic coated type dust jacket (allowing for wiping clean) with the write up in front and in back of the story of Dr. Seuss. I love the large oversize of this book! This book measures 10-3/4" tall by 8-3/4" wide, so it's bigger than normal. It is a library book and has the library name stamped inside the cover of the book as seen in the pictures. You can click on the picture and it will enlarge to see better detail. The pages of this book are brightly colored, not faded or yellowed or dog eared, no marking or highlighting on pages. As you can see, on the first page of the inside cover, there is some damage to the page on the right. Looks like something was stuck on the page, then pulled off, so it pulled off some of the paper, but it isn't very noticeable. No great damage to it. There is one tiny tear at the bottom of one of the pages and about a 1/2" tear at the top of one of the pages (shown above). It can be repaired with a small piece of invisible tape, and wouldn't be noticed. The dust cover has been glued to the inside of the front and back of the book, but I would leave it on anyway, since there's the great write-up on the author. It can probably be taken off with some care, (maybe steaming or blow dryer) without damage, but I never tried to take it off. There is some expected wear to the top edges of the book, as expected, from shelving, and less to the bottom edges. Top edges shown in pictures. This book is in fantastic overall condition, especially for it's age. It would be a wonderful collectible book for anyone's Dr. Seuss collection of out of print books. It's fabulous! I have reduced the price to reflect the small damages to this book, of course you wouldn't expect a book this old, especially a library book to be in excellent condition. I believe whomever gets this book will be very happy with it. This book will steadily go up in value as the years go by, since it's out of print and an antique unaltered copy.
