Unique Artisan Girl Figurines, Clay Pottery Art Singing Sisters, Vintage 1970s

These two beautifully-painted artisan pottery young ladies are completely unique and original. They seem to be young sisters, singing or chatting together. Their fashion and hair-style is mid-1970's. The older sister in a smooth dotted green dress has a very stylish and rather bohemian painted fringe on her bodice; she has her hands clasped behind her back and has beautiful flowing hair. The smaller sister is in pink, with hands in her dress pockets, has an awesome red polka-dot scarf, flowing in the wind. They're listed together, as they were found together and it would be a real shame to separate them. Signature on both figurines is "MIR". Cannot find a reference for this artist online. The larger figurine has a felt bottom, indicative of art pieces from the 70's. There is a small hairline crack on the smaller figurine, at the bottom of the dress, next to the signature. To me, this also indicates the vintage-ness of the piece. It doesn't affect the look or the way she is standing.
