This vintage sheet music is "High Hopes" was written by Sammy Cahn and James Van Heusen and published by Barton Music Corp., New York in 1959. It was in the US Picture Frank Capra's "A Hole in the Head" starring Frank Sinatra, Edward G. Robinson, Eleanor Parker, Carolyn Jones, Thelma Ritter and Keenan Wynn. The cover shows a photo of Frank Sinatra holding Eddie Hodges (son in movie). The song describes two scenarios where animals do seemingly impossible acts and implies, they ultimately accomplish them. The song also was used as the theme song for the 1960 presidential campaign of John F. Kennedy. A nice piece of movie memorabilia for your collection!
