This vintage figurine is of 3 monkeys called "Speak no evil, Hear no evil, See no evil" manufactured in Japan during the 1930s. It is made of ceramic and hand painted. The front shows the brown monkeys. The three monkeys are Mizaru, who sees no evil, covering his eyes; Kikazaru, who hears no evil, covering his ears; and Iwazaru, who speaks no evil, covering his mouth. The figurine measures 3.25" w x 1.5" d x 2.25" h. A fun addition to your collection!
