This vintage piece of sheet music is "Short'nin' Bread". It was arranged by Fred K. Huffer and published by Calumet Music Co., Chicago, IL in 1939. The art work (artist unknown) shows a "mammy" presenting short'nin' bread to a boy and a girl. The music has a Hawaiian guitar (uke) solo and guitar chords. It measures 9.25" w x 12" h. A great addition to your music sheet or Black Americana collection!
The sheet music is in excellent condition: minimal edge wear and owner's name written in upper right corner. Otherwise, spine is good. There is no torn, missing or repaired pages. It comes from a smoke-free environment. Satisfaction guaranteed.
