This item was homemade but not by me the seller. This came from a estate gathering and the person in charge of the estate sale said the item was made in the 1950's but me the seller can not guarantee is was made in the 1950's. You use your own judgement before you purchase item. There are no marking on the train anywhere. Material: Heavy still construction and real wood base.
