Antique Copr. Grace S. Putnam 1925 Bye Lo baby doll Marked Germany with Patent Pending on the main body. Doll has blue eyes that open and close. Marked on the back neck this doll has a cloth torso, legs, arms and feet but does have celluloid plastic hands and the head is a bisque porcelain. Please note this doll shows an old repair on the head/ face, though it appears this repair was done very well. The doll has what could be the original clothing but I am not 100% sure. The eyes do open and close and displays beautifully. This cute doll would be a great addition for any collector! I am not a doll expert but the doll appears to be in nice antique condition. This doll is showing age appropriate crazing and wear and the repair marks on the face, missing one finger on the celluloid plastic hand. Body shows age appropriate coloring. ( please view all photos) . Doll measures about 14" inches tall. The face is just adorable but sadly my husband calls her and all older dolls Annabelle and is creeped out...lol. I personally think the doll is just an adorable doll to display or add to your collection which is why this cute baby is sitting in our living room. Came with another doll I have listed separately.
