Adorable vintage 1940s baby alligator bag. Very good used vintage condition. There is a fair amount of wear to the finish on the straps but they are structurally sound and the body is in very excellent condition with little to no wear on the body or fabric interior. The skin on the body of the purse has some natural flaws but they are not damage. No repairs. Please see pictures as part of description. Strap is adjustable and can be worn as a shoulder bag or a handbag. When the strap is adjusted to its shortest length it measures 11 1/4" overall, from top of strap, to bottom of bag. Body of bag, is approx 6" across and is approx 5" tall by 2" deep at deepest. Bag with strap extended is approx 17" from top of strap to bottom of bag. PLEASE NOTE- The metal snap on the front of the purse is very hard to open and close. I don't know if a little bit of oil will help this or not, but I'm not going to attempt it and am leaving that up to the buyer's discretion.
