Peg Bracken was, in the mid century, an amusing author who contributed to ladies magazines and had a quirky outlook on housekeeping in general. When she wrote this book in 1960, it became an instant best seller, with the 50th anniversary issue being published in 2010. This book is a first edition hardback, no dust jacket, in nearly pristine condition. The cover is slightly soiled and the pages are slightly discolored, but the entire book appears nearly new Pages are tight and unmarked, and remarkably clean. There are three notes in pencil on the very last page. 164 pages plus a rear index.
