Dog figurines, or figurals, have long been popular for shelves, china cabinets or just plain desktops. The problem sometimes is that when the breed is no longer as popular as it once was, a collector cannot find a figural of their favorite animal. Here is a wire hair terrier, a merry, cheerful little boy that will smile at you every day from his display area. This figural dates from the 1940's and is still in perfect condition. Made of porcelain, and unmarked as to origin (likely Germany, as it is high quality porcelain and the detail is lifelike), this little guy measures 3-3/4" long and 3-1/2" tall, approximately. Terriers are active, happy dogs and you can almost see him bounding around in joy! There is no damage and there are no repairs to this item.
