Tashiro Shoten Elephant Mark Japanese Carafe

Up for sale is this Japanese Tashiro Shoten carafe. It originally came with a matching cup that would be displayed inverted on the top, in the same pattern. People would put these at bedside with water inside so that their guests could have a glass of water during the night. with the Elephant Mark on the bottom. While there is slight wear there are no chips or cracks. This beautiful carafe, vase or whatever you like to use it for measures approx. 6 1/2"T.
