Charming handcrafted, hand-painted coin bank. Antique 1930's wooden box bank made in California, USA. Colorful primary colors painted clowns and balloons decorate the four sides with the words "A penny saved is a penny earned" over the clown on two sides. Arched top with 2" long x 1/8"wide coin slot. Two screws under the wooden base can be removed to allow coin retrieval. 6" h x 7" l x 4" w. Signed CM Bowen. Would look great with an antique toy, clown, doll or bank collection.
