Vintage Starco Cottonwoodware Wood Rack Salt & Pepper Shaker Set NIB Roosters Hens 2 Embroidered Kitchen Towels Wood Rack

Here is a cute Vintage Starco Cottonwoodware Wood NIB Salt & Pepper Shaker Set with 2 Kitchen Embroidered Towels and Wood Rack never used or taken out of the plastic sealed. This is a set from my Grandmother's estate collection. It is from 1940-50. The salt & pepper shakers are made from Imported Cherrywood and the rack is made of beautiful California Redwood wood. The rack  measures 10" long x 5-1/4" tall x 2" deep.  The salt & pepper shakers feature a rooster on the pepper shaker and a hen on the salt shaker, also made of wood. They measure 4" tall. The salt and pepper shakers have some tape residue on them where they were originally taped inside the box in factory packaging and have been packed up for many years in this box. This set has included 2 Kitchen towels measuring 32" x 17", also from the Star Embroidery Corp of California. The towels are made of cotton linen type material, one cream colored with red lines on each end and one solid cayan blue color. I have not washed the towels, and the cream colored one shows some darker color where it's been folded. This is in a box with a top on it shown in one of the pictures. The box is somewhat dirty and the bottom part of the box is a little squished on top of the box, other than that these things everything is in good vintage condition. This would make a lovely set for a gift for someone for Housewarming or Wedding or even for Christmas for the chicken/rooster lover in your life. You can repackage the gift in a better box if need be, but personally I would like to have it in the original box even if it is not in excellent condition, after all it's really the contents that matter the most and would be nice to see the original box. I do not know if the tape residue will come off the shakers or not, I have not tried, but I have reduced the price on this item because of these things that are not excellent.
