Rare antique 1700s to early 1800s 17 3/4” wide silk velvet fabric in celery green. The feel is soft and luxurious; perfect for heirloom sewing or historical garments. It measures 3 yards long by 17 3/4” wide not including the selvage. This fabric is incredible and so much more amazing in hand. The fabric is finely woven and in excellent condition. The difference in color in the photos is from the high sheen reflecting off the lights. It was stored on its original roll with tissue paper around it. This is truly phenomenal museum quality fabric.
