Antique Vintage Persian Curly Lamb Fur Articulated Jointed Teddy Bear
LISTED ON SUNDAY, JULY 31, 2016 - VIEWED 1325 TIMES
Fabulous antique vintage Teddy bear made from genuine curly Persian lamb fur for the ultimate in luxury. The bear is a jointed bear with gorgeous glass eyes, leather soles and a thick RED (my computer looks pumpkin) cotton bow around his neck. He measures 18 1/2 inches long by about 10 inches wide and is in very good condition. All of our genuine fur teddies came from an estate with a vast collection of these fabulous bears in a variety of materials. Each was meticulously tagged with price and fur used in their wooden display shelves, each having a cubby for about 20 bears! We were told by the auctioneer that bears of this quality would go for around $700 to $1100 today.
