Vintage 50s Gold Bullion Lame' Couture Metallic Fabric Stretch Lurex Glitter

We are selling this fabulous gold bullion lame' stretch lurex fabric by the yard. Fabric is really off the scale and gorgeous in hand. It is vintage thick backed one way stretch gold bullion couture dress fabric that measures 60" wide. This is a heavier woven fabric not just solid lightweight gold threads such as lame' with 4 way stretch. The fabric is amazing and would be awesome for a formal dress or gown. This would also be fabulous for a retro styled dress - we had a 4 piece suit in this fabric from the 50s about 3 yrs ago that was incredible and an old TCM movie had a long gown out of it that was outrageous! This is also the fabric they used on Star Trek's episode "Mirror Mirror" and was purchased by the producer and star of the online series "Star Trek Continues" to duplicate the vest it was used in. This is new old stock fabric that has been around for 60 years. It has some weight to it due to the metallic nature of this fabric. The New York factory that made this fabric went out of business so this is the last of it unless someone starts producing it again. It is sold for over $600 per yard on Yahoo Japan several years ago and they purchased it from me when I didn't know how rare this was. We are just about at the end of our bolt so only have a limited yards left. When this is gone there is no more!
